The century-old Blackstone Hotel building in midtown has been an Omaha fixture since opening in 1916, with former Omaha mayor Mike Boyle even calling the building "the grand lady on 36th Street."

Clarity Development partnered with Greenslate Development to develop 90 market-rate new construction Class A apartments and approximately 4,000 square ft. of commercial space in the heart of the Midtown Omaha. The project is located near the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Mutual of Omaha/Midtown Crossing, the Kiewit Companies, and the rapidly expanding commercial development in the Blackstone District.


Formerly known as the Colonial Hotel, this project involved the Historic Renovation of a 40,000 SF, 6 story building comprised of 100 transient lodging units into 40 high-end market rate apartments. A link addition on the North side of the building connects the (2) structures originally building in the early 1900s and houses the new elevator and stair core for the building.
